This opportunity will give you a day to enjoy the village of Sintra with its many monuments, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage.
On the second day, we will enjoy the stunning Algarve coast
Head south to Portimão and explore beach of Marinha, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the village of Carvoeiro, the beaches of Carvoeiro, Discover the caves of Benagil, with the option of a cave boat trip (the boat trip is not included in the price).
Visit Lagos the Ponta da Piedade viewpoint, Camilo beach, Dona Ana beach.

Nowadays, the Valinhos are visited by thousands of Portuguese and foreign pilgrims who take the route of the Via-Sacra to the Hungarian Calvary, visit the Chapel of St. Stephen of Hungary and then visit the House of Lucy and the House of Francis and Jacinta Marto in the village of Aljustrel. In Valinhos, the sculptures of the Angel of Portugal and the various stations of the Via-Sacra are all written by Maria Amélia Carvalheira da Silva.
Basílica da Santíssima Trindade
Basílica da Santíssima Trindade Monuments The Church of the Most Holy Trinity is situated within the enclosure of the Sanctuary of Fátima, on the opposite side of the Basilica. It was inaugurated in 2007 but had been planned since 1973. In fact since then there had been the need to build a new church because the Basilica wasn’t large enough to accommodate the great number of pilgrims who wanted to attend services within the Sanctuary, on days of average turnout. The Church is a modern, round, white building, the color of the stone that covers it, a local stone known as “white of the sea”. This huge building is 125 m in diameter, with no intermediate support; it has a volume of 130,000 m3 and 8,633 seats and it can be divided into two areas by a moving partition. There are 76 seats for disabled people.

Monuments Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória
Monuments Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória (or Monastery of Batalha) One of the most fascinating places in the Iberian Peninsula. A decisive event for the consolidation of the Portuguese nation took place on August 14, 1385, near the spot where the Monastery of Batalha stands: D. João, Master of Avis and the future king of Portugal, overcame the Castilian armies in the battle of Aljubarrota. This victory put an end to a dynastic crisis that had dragged on since 1383, since the death of King Ferdinand, whose only daughter was married to the King of Castile, an aspirant to the throne of Portugal.
The Sítio da Nazaré
The Sítio da Nazaré offers one of the most impressive and wide views of the entire Portuguese coast. Largo de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré has one of the best balconies over the region: you can see the Serra de Mira de Aire and Serra dos Candeeiros, all the coast from Nazaré to Peniche

Day 2 - Algarve "Lagos and Sagres"
Portimão
Located in the estuary of the River Arade, Portimão is known for its excellent sandy beaches with plenty of warm, calm waters, which make it a very alluring holiday destination. Portimão has a long fishing tradition that developed particularly between the 19th and 20th centuries with the advent of the canning industry and tourism. Most of the buildings that you see in the streets and squares of the historic centre are from this period, as well as the building that houses the Portimão Museum, a superb refurbishment of an old cannery that received the Museum of the Year award from the Council of Europe in 2010. It pays homage to the people and the city that for centuries have lived exclusively of and for the sea.
Praia da Rocha
Lagos
Lagos is a town in the Algarve region in southern Portugal. It is known for its walled old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Steep wooden steps lead to the sandy cove of Camilo Beach. The nearby cliffs of Ponta da Piedade offer stunning views of the headland and a lighthouse. St. Anthony’s Church, an ornate 18th-century church, is opposite the Governors’ Castle, a castle with a baroque facade and towers.
Praia da Dona Ana
The Praia da Dona Ana is one of the most picturesque beaches of the Algarve, and is a great location for your day on the beach. The Dona Ana beach is located to the south of Lagos and is situated within the limestone cliffs of the Ponta da Piedade headland. This is a beautiful natural setting; the highly eroded cliffs reveal layers of golden strata, the calm sea waters are an idyllic turquoise colour, and the sands are soft and inviting. Along with the wonderful scenery, there are are all the expected facilities of a popular beach, including beach restaurants, shops and showers!
It is a small beach between cliffs, with interesting rock formations. Its waters are clear and calm. Access to the beach is by a long staircase.
