Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré & Óbidos
Fátima local de Fe y peregrinación cuenta la historia que “una señora más brillante que el Sol” apareció a tres pastores. Visite la imponente basílica neoclásica que se alza en el corazón del Santuario de Fátima y las tumbas de los tres pastorcitos que se encuentran là interior.
En camino a Nazaré la más típica villa y playa de Portugal con sus tradiciones y artes de pesca con el majestuoso promontorio, en la cima del cual se encuentra el sitio de Nazaret, allá en lo alto del sitio, del mirador del Suberco, la mirada pierde en uno de los más bellos panoramas marítimos del país. También conocida por la ola gigante de Garrett McNamara, que en noviembre de 2011 surfeó en la playa del Norte, en Nazaret, una ola de 78 pies (23,77 metros). Puede almorzar la famosa caldera de pescado y sardinas asadas.
A continuación, para Óbidos villa medieval es una de las más pintorescas y bien conservadas de Portugal. Dentro de murallas, encontramos un castillo bien conservado y un laberinto de calles y casas blancas que encantan. Entre pórticos manuelinos, ventanas floridas y pequeños anchos, no podemos dejar de beber una Ginjinha (Licor regional) en un vaso de chocolate, podemos también visitar La Iglesia Matriz de Santa María, la Iglesia de la Misericordia, la Iglesia de San Pedro, el Pelourinho y el Pelourinho, , Fuera de murallas, el Acueducto y el Santuario del Señor Jesús da Pedra, de planta redonda, son algunos de los monumentos que justifican una visita atenta. Así como el Museo Municipal de Óbidos, donde se encuentran las obras de Josefa de Óbidos, una famosa pintora del s. XVII.

This portuguese city is well known as a religious place for Cristian pilgrims and its world-wide fame is due to the report of apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by three little shepherds from 13 of May until 13 of October of 1917. This series of apocaliptic visions and prophecies became known as Fatima’s Secret!
The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima became one of the most important international destinations for religious tourism, receiving around six million people per year!
ÓBIDOS
This was an important village for the defensive strategy of the portuguese lands idealized by the Templars and today we can apreciate its medieval beauty in the castles, streets and many activities including the ‘Mercado Medieval de Óbidos’ in 2018 will be between July and August.
This historical recreation event turns Óbidos into the privileged stage to experience the medieval world lived a long time ago in The Portuguese Kingdom!
NAZARÉ
Nazaré evolved from a fishing village to a village dedicated to tourism that apreciate specialy the culture of its hard working people that, as us, love the Atlantic Ocean and Respect it!
Nowadays the great tourist attraction is brought because the ‘McNammara effect’… well, Garrett McNammara surfed a colossal 33 meters, in the ‘Praia do Norte’ and put Portugal in the ‘Big Waves Map’ for surfers around the world!
